Participants of the regional conference Air Protection and Municipal Waste Management together with Ms. Ljiljana Tanasijević, President of the Environmental Protection Association, visited the Waste Management Center on May 31, 2022.
Managers of Suez Vinča Operator (Veolia) informed the visitors about the method of managing municipal and construction waste at the modern sanitary landfill in Vinča, and presented the PPP project and facilities, which are currently under construction.
Experts from public and private companies dealing with waste management from Belgrade, Pirot, Jagodina, Užice, Pančevo, Čačak and other cities in Serbia had many specific questions related to solving operational challenges. We are pleased that we had an opportunity to present the PPP project, show the application of modern standards in waste management and respond to visitors’ questions.
