It was great pleasure to welcome participants of the project Zero food waste education of “Z” generation of European citizens, this week. The visit was part of the ZeroFoodWasteExpo held on 6th of March in Belgrade.
260 poplars and willows are being planted within the Waste Management Center in Vinča, as part of a scientific experiment in order to understand the role of these plants in landfill remediation.
Beo Čista Energija recently hosted several distinguished guests at the Vinča Resource Recovery Center, where they were given a tour and presentation of the facilities.
The Vinča Resource Recovery Center welcomed its youngest visitors, the second-grade pupils of “Djuro Strugar“Elementary School, along with their teachers Andjela Stevanović and Branka Gordić and their parents. The aim of their visit was to gain a hands-on understanding of the journey of waste and its destination.
