Mr. Bosko Maravic ESHS Manager, participated today in the round table “ESG Challenges”, alongside Ms.Senka Jelenkovic from Belgrade Airport, Mr. Nicolas Marquier from IFC, Mr. Antoine Avignon from the EU delegation, and moderator Ms. Stevan Pechitch.
This round table was part of the Forum France – Western Balkans: Manufacturing, Supply Chain & ESG Practices, organized by Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie France Serbie, aimed to bring together French companies and those from the Western Balkan countries. The discussion provided valuable insights into the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects in investments in Serbia.
The Belgrade Waste Management PPP Project and Belgrade Airport are enhancing the regulatory framework through stringent ESG policies mandated by international financial support and EU standards, thereby improving practices among SMEs. One of the key conclusions was that educating all stakeholders and SMEs will make ESG challenges more manageable.
