Mr. Vladimir Milovanović and Mr. Katsuhiko Hoshikawa, Managing Directors of Beo Čista Energija expressed their gratitude for strong support from the International Finance Corporation and provided to the esteemed visitors with a tour of the facilities within the Vinča Resource Recovery Center.
The Belgrade’s PPP landmark project in Vinča, which will massively improve Belgrade’s environment by reducing 210,000 tons of CO2eq yearly, is financially backed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) with EUR 127 million, supplemented by EUR 290.5 million syndicated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development EBRD and the Austrian Development Bank (OeED) in addition to an equity investment of around EUR 96 million provided by ITOCHU Corporation, Veolia and Marguerite Fund.
