We had the honor of hosting a Nordic delegation at the Vinča Resource Recovery Center, led by H.E. Kristin Melander, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia, alongside representatives from the embassies of Sweden and Finland, as well as members of the Nordic Business Alliance in Serbia.
Vladimir Milovanović, Director of Beo Čista Energija, presented the Belgrade Waste Management PPP Project to the visitors and emphasized the importance of the new facilities in establishing a modern waste management system.
Our visitors expressed great interest in the Center’s waste management procedures, safety measures, energy generation from waste, and leachate treatment process whereby treated water is safely discharged into the Danube River.
We were pleased to demonstrate how the waste disposal and treatment services we provide for the City of Belgrade contribute to reducing the environmental impact of waste and support the development of a circular economy.
