Ms. Lea Markštajn Stojanović, our Legal and Contract Manager, recently participated in a panel discussion titled Collaborative Growth: Unlocking the Potential of Public-Private Partnerships to Transform Cities in Serbia, together with distinguished panelists, Mr. Edi Majstorović from the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and Mr. Chivoine Rem from Belgrade Airport, and moderator Mr. Bodin Bulatović from the IFC.
This panel discussion provided valuable insights into the benefits and lessons learned from Serbia’s most significant public-private partnerships, specifically intended for representatives from Serbian municipalities and businesses.
Ms. Lea Markštajn Stojanović, Legal and Contract Manager, emphasized that while public-private partnerships can be complex, their success depends on shared goals and mutual trust. That is collaboration which enables us to overcome challenges and achieve vital transformations, as demonstrated by the Belgrade Waste Management PPP project, which has greatly improved the waste management system in Serbia’s capital.
This event concluded French week, organized by French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce which is a constant driver of development and cooperation enhancement between France and Serbia and a common denominator for future collaborations.
